This is a gorgeous 1950s fit and flare chiffon dress. The fabric is a sheer light blue, with royal blue flowers and green leaves. Under the pleated skirt is a layer of crinoline, and then a layer of a pink/purple fabric, with same floral design. This dress has a long zipper closure at the back, and 1 hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper. A real beauty!
In good condition, though there is one small orange mark + pull on the upper right chest (see photo #3). The chiffon skirt has a few pulls, one small hole, and a couple tiny holes at the hem line. Armpits are slightly faded (more pink than purple).
Union made by the ILGWU (International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union).
